CHARITIES: HOW TO APPLY LOCAL The Combined Federal Campaign for the Greater New Orleans Area (CFC) accepts applications from local charities and federations each spring. 501(c)(3) non-profits located in or providing services in the following parishes are encouraged to apply for local eligibility for the Combined Federal Campaign for the Greater New Orleans Area: Assumption, Jefferson, Lafourche, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Mary, Tangipahoa, St. Tammany, Terrebonne, and Washington Parishes. Free workshops for agencies that wish to be included in the campaign will are held each winter. Please check back for the dates. The workshops help attendees navigate the application process and update people on the latest and anticipated changes in federal regulations.
Recent memoranda concerning Charity Qualifications & Materials are available on the OPM website, http://www.opm.gov/cfc/Charities/index.asp. Please feel free to share the above information with any agencies that may be interested in participating in the campaign. NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL Deadlines for national and international affiliated and unaffiliated organizations are determined by the Office of CFC Operations. Check the Calendar of Events for exact dates.
